To Snug

Time to leave Bruny Island.  It had rained again overnight and did so a little as we packed up and drove out.  Stopped to taste some cheese at Bruny Island Cheese, before getting on the 11:30 ferry back to Kettering.

From Kettering we drove another 10 minutes to a little town called Snug.  As mentioned earlier, we have changed some of our plans due to the fact that Mt Field National Park is closed for camping due to fires, so we have decided to stay in Snug a couple of nights.  It's a nice little caravan park, right on the beach.  Not the world's nicest beach, but quite peaceful.  We enjoyed a walk and explore up and down 'our' beach!

Snug Beach even has its own mini versions of the Twelve Apostles, and like the real ones, there are several missing.

Did some internet browsing to find out what we might do tomorrow and came up with Hastings Caves and Thermal Pools, about 88 km's away.  Sounds like a good day out and something different to what we've done so far this trip.
