Hobart to Bruny Island

January 7th & 8th

Our last day in Hobart involved a trip to Eastlands - the local shopping mall, then a relaxing afternoon back at the caravan park.  After dinner we played a round of mini golf at the caravan park mini golf course.  It is certainly an attractive, well laid out course and was a lot of fun playing on!
It took awhile though, and it was practically dark by the time we had finished!

The following day, the 8th, we left the caravan park and drove back into the CBD of Hobart, then out the other side heading for the Huon Peninsula.  It was only about 45 minutes driving to Kettering, where we lined up for the short ferry ride over to Bruny Island.

Kettering in the distance as we travelled the 15 minutes across to Bruny Island.  Before we knew it we were disembarking again and on the way to our next caravan park at Adventure Bay, some 30 or so km's from the ferry.
