Huonville & Cygnet

January 15th

Went for a bit of a drive exploring some more of the Huon area today.  Began at the Apple Museum... is there anything that does not have a museum dedicated to it?  This is located between Grove and Huonville and has all sorts of bits and pieces relating to apples - this area of Tasmania is well known for its apples.

For lunch we drove another 20 minutes to the small town of Cygnet.  Had a picnic lunch by the water overlooking moored yachts and other boats.  The kids enjoyed some more cherries - our 'neighbours' gave us a whole heap of them yesterday.  Ethan really enjoyed them...

Our next stop was a brief one back at Kettering, to look at some of the many boats on the marina. The boys all found one we'd like to buy... and we all agreed on one, a great cruiser called 'Imagination'!

The view from our caravan at Snug Caravan Park was devine, especially in the evening...
