End of the Line

Our final full day at Colac Colac and we spent some time in the river after breakfast.

For lunch, we drove into Corryong and enjoyed a meal at ‘Legends on Hansen’. The chef was very accommodating to our various dietary needs, in particular the gluten free part.

The afternoon saw us back in the creek for one last time. The boys in particular had fun engineering again by digging out this detour. A ‘leaf race’ they called it!

After dinner, the kids went again to the weekly movie night on the lawn!

J's star tracking shot taken on our last night:

Before we knew it, it was time to pack up and head for home. 420 km’s in one hit. We had morning tea in Myrtleford and lunch in Swanpool. We found the swans of Swanpool on the wall of the tennis club.

We enjoyed Colac Colac so much that we pre-booked the same site for some time in January next year too!

End of trip stats to celebrate the caravan’s 10th birthday (2009-2019):

Travelled a total of 16714 km, 249 nights away, across 25 trips.

Average: 1671.4 km per year, 24.9 nights away per year…. Not bad considering we have to work for a living!
